Actress Clementine Mosimane is a veteran in the South African entertainment industry and is popularly known for her roles on screen, including Soul City and The Wild.
One of her latest roles is playing the lead in the movie Poppie Nongena, which was released this weekend.
Mosimane says the movie is "a very inspiring one that tells the story of an icon in South Africa. Go with an open mind and an open heart to understand where many women came from in this country."
We find out what's on her cultural radar.
TELEVISION
Lithapo is a TV series that just released on SABC 2. I'm going to be working on it until the end of the year. I'm also working on The Epic Hangout, an educational programme on SABC 2.
MUSIC
I love gospel music. Sometimes you just need it. Bishop Benjamin Dube comes to mind. I also like international music, especially old-school artists like Lionel Richie, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin.
BOOKS
I'm reading The Final Quest by Rick Joyner. It's about his personal story of having a vision in which God showed him what would happen to people and Christians if they're not fully clothed in the armour of God. It builds you spiritually and opens your mind.
RESTAURANTS
I like Doppio Zero in Sandton. I also love Chinese restaurants. When I want good Chinese food, I go to the Chinese mall in Langlaagte and they sort me out.
UPCOMING ACTORS
Letlotlo Zimkhitha Mohlabeng played my daughter on Poppie Nongena. She's a brilliant actress.
Aphiwe Sithole, who played my son, is also very talented.
