Sherwood – Britbox

Britbox is closing shop in South Africa at the end of this month but before it leaves, catch writer James Graham’s layered mystery/social history drama from 2022. Starring David Morrisey, Lesley Manville, David Harewood and Adeel Akthar, it’s a confident drama about the unresolved ghosts of the past and their long-reaching consequences for the present set in a North Nottinghamshire town where two unrelated murders reveal a community scarred by long-ago events and tensions that have been boiling under the surface for decades.
