It's usually her surprise music releases that get fans of pop royalty Beyoncé Knowles-Carter in a tizz.

This time, however, the star held the web hostage as she dropped sneak peeks of her new adidas x Ivy Park fashion collaboration on social media ahead of its official release.

The celeb's fans — collectively known as the beyhive — swarmed the moment it hit the market at the end of October, and many pieces quickly started to sell out.

Labelled “Drip 2", the collection is a vibrant follow-up to the collaboration she launched with the sports apparel brand earlier this year. It features six new sneaker updates, accessories, and a range of size-inclusive apparel in coral, mesa (yellow) and shades of green. The majority of items sold are also unisex.

Beyoncé, who is at the helm of Ivy Park as its founder, continued the brand's commitment to eco-conscious fashion by using green fabrics such as cotton twill and recycled polyester in this collection.
