EAT YOUR WAY TO A-LIST ABS

It starts with quitting refined food. I know winter is all about bread and butter - fried chips are my weakness - but remove anything that bloats you.

Give yourself a break - but not too much. If you want to have a treat meal and cheat, let your friend order the bad stuff and steal two of her chips.

Once in a while, especially if I've been bad, I do a juice diet or detox period. No sugar and salt and refined fat.

 PUT IN THE WORK

I may not do ab training every day, but running and active classes are important.

I do a Pound class, which burns and is painful but so good for my arms, thighs, and shoulders. It tones and makes the ass nice and tight.

I never take lifts. I tip-toe up the stairs.

And engage! One hour at the gym means nothing if you are not engaging those muscles every single second of your life.

I am constantly engaging my core. This is why my core is consistent whether I lose or gain weight. The whole day, in the car, especially when sitting, and it even helps to laugh from my core, and I laugh a lot, with taut muscles.
