Yogurt could be the answer to treating depression.

A study published in Nature Scientific Reports has reported that beneficial bacteria, such as those in yogurt, can help relieve depression-like symptoms.

The tests were conducted on mice, and explored the connection between our brains and the microbes that live on and in our bodies, especially the gut. Lactobacillus - the type of so-called 'good' bacteria found in yogurt - helped the mice, which were placed under stress, apparently feel better.
