No publicity is bad publicity when you’re an obscure political analyst from KwaZulu-Natal whose political insights don’t extend beyond Nkandla.
Clearly inspired by the notorious DA election campaign TV ad that shows a South African flag on fire, Xolani Dube presumably called upon the services of a content creator to make him famous, who hit upon the idea of setting fire to the constitution.
When the document had gone up in flames, Dube blamed the country’s highest law for all his problems. He then invited people opposed to his Mampara antics to have a conversation with him about what he called an “evil document”.
“I know I might stand alone at the end of the day, but I’m willing to take the heat,” said this Mampara. If he was chasing infamy, it’s mission accomplished.
