Mampara of the week: Reuben Madadzhe

Ego tripping in Reuben’s free ride

Reuben Madadzhe has been caught with his pants down, making use of an alleged R1.8m “gift” — a BWM X5 fitted with illegal blue lights — without declaring it to the IEC.

The ANC Limpopo provincial secretary demonstrated why he needs classes at the school of the humble and modest when he was confronted about the controversy.

“I do have my own X5, [for] which I am paying BMW finance every month. It’s not a small X5 like this one,” said Madadzhe of the BMW he claims was bought by his party and not donated.

“Mine is an M5O. If you know vehicles, you will understand an M50 vehicle.”

Clearly the days when ANC leaders pretended to be humble servants of the people are behind us. Now we’re left with the Reuben Madamparas of this world and their oversized egos.
