In Leon Uris’s book Mila 18, German scientist Koenig, working under a Jewish senior, wakes up the day after the start of the extermination of Jews in Poland by Führer Adolf Hitler, and occupies the office of his superior.
When asked, he says he is German and can no longer work under a Jew. This was how the expropriation of Jewish homes, businesses, and jobs unfolded throughout Europe as the Final Solution to the “Jewish problem” was implemented.
At first it was a whisper, then it happened brazenly.
The retaliation by Israel to the Hamas attack in 2023 was initially premised on winning the war against Hamas and making Israel safe. That was then. This week the real final solution to the Palestinian problem has been unveiled. Benjamin Netanyahu, the new Führer of Jerusalem, has now indicated that Israel will occupy the entire Gaza Strip.
The Palestinians are being bombed and starved to death or until they offer themselves for resettlement outside Palestine. They will no longer be able to speak of the encroachment of Jewish settlements — Gaza shall be Jewish.
To achieve this, food, medicines and other basic necessities have been stopped for months. When provided, aid is controlled by Israeli forces who lure the hungry and dying Palestinians into death traps called aid distribution centres, where women and children are killed by trigger-happy Israeli soldiers.
Human skeletons walk around dazed by hunger and bombs that fall on their ramshackle structures that serve as homes — just as the starving skeletons of Auschwitz walked.
And when in the midst of starvation, Hamas releases a video of an emaciated hostage, there is indignation that the captives are being purposely starved. The UN is summoned to discuss the abuse of hostages.
If you stop food, medication and necessities from getting into Gaza, where do you expect Hamas to find the resources to keep your people alive and healthy? How many Palestinian who are not in captivity but live in desolate bombed out towns look like that hostage?
How many Palestinian prisoners have walked out of Israeli detention centres emaciated and unrecognizable?
No one would condone the taking of hostages, but the problem in Gaza did not start with the hostages. The hostages were a result of the occupation of Palestine by Israel, and the daily killings of Palestinians by snipers or daylight attacks.
Mass detentions and starvation in Israeli prisons, documented by their own spy within Hamas, Mosab Hassan Yousef, in his book Son of Hamas, are the order of the day, as is torture.

Israel is using the script developed by Heinrich Himmler of the SS, after Hitler’s 1941 conference, when the extermination of 6-million Jews was mapped out and implemented. They were killed simply because they were Jews — just as the Palestinians today are being hounded because of who they are.

Two enabling factors were the belief that Jews were not really human and their removal was a necessity for the good of the Reich. The other was an indifferent world, willing to look the other way, for whatever reason.
The Israeli population is by and large silent today. To them Palestinians are not really human and deserve whatever they get if that will bring “security” to Israel.
And the world is again effectively muted because the Jews have moved from being regarded as “vermin” and have become international royalty whose most reprehensible of actions cannot be criticised, unless you are antisemitic.
And all the new Führer in Jerusalem needs to say is that they were targeting a Hamas command centre beneath a hospital. No one dares demand proof from the Führer.
Information about the war on Palestinians is censored as an attempt is made to create an illusion of “reality” with no relation to the situation on the ground.
In this make-believe world of Netanyahu, the grotesque idea of him presiding over genocide and then nominating someone for a Nobel Peace Prize is not ironic at all.
The Jews survived the horrors of Hitler, just as the Palestinians shall survive the Netanyahu genocide. That is because truth and justice always triumph over evil, even if it may not look like it.
